內容簡介The fracture behavior of a sintered refractory depends on the microstructure, elastic compliance and crack extension, but the direct relationships are not fully understood. In this study, the fracture resistance curve. R-curve behavior, of a magnesia-spinel refractory, including the aggregate particles, was measured as a function of the crack extension from the initial notch length of the SENB (single edge notched beam) specimen. The crack extension was estimated from the elastic compliance change.
