內容簡介The improvement of slag line bricks was studied for VOD ladles refining high-Ni steel, because of the recent increase in use of this treatment method. The bricks were improved by investigating the CaO content, the grain sizing, and super high temperature firing, based on information obtained by analysis of used bricks. The improved bricks resulted in a 30 percent reduction of the wear rate in field tests. The study of materials other than MgO-CaO types can be expected to result in additional improvements in the future.
